The Phi Rho Pi Regional I Tournament, hosted by the College of Southern Idaho (CSI), is an official qualifying competition leading up to the national Phi Rho Pi championship. Phi Rho Pi is a national organization dedicated to community college speech and debate, bringing together students to compete in events such as interpretation, public speaking, and various styles of debate.

As part of Regional I, this tournament gives competitors the opportunity to refine their performances, earn recognition, and, of course, engage in some well-organized arguing across a wide range of topics.

The tournament is held online, allowing students from different colleges to compete remotely while maintaining the same level of competition, preparation, and energy—just with slightly fewer long drives and a lot more screen time.
